Amanda enjoys learning new techniques and exploring new tools in an effort to capture the likeness of the subject. Her colored pencil pieces are all done using Caran D’Ache Luminance and/or Faber Castell Polychromos pencils on drafting film. For the graphite pieces, she uses Hi-Uni graphite pencils on various professional grade papers. All materials used are of archival quality, meaning that if taken care of properly, the pieces won’t fade or deteriorate over time. Custom pieces are typically completed within three-four weeks of receiving clear, good quality reference photos and are priced according to multiple variables such as size, materials used, number of subjects, background, etc.
